South Mansfield College proudly celebrates another remarkable achievement as our very own Gabrielle Raye D. Madarang brought honor to the Philippines and the SMC community at the 22nd WATA Open International Taekwondo Championships held in Sakai, Japan.
Competing against talented athletes from different countries, Gabrielle demonstrated exceptional skill, discipline, and determination on the international stage. Her outstanding performance earned her a Silver Medal in Kyurogi (Sparring) and a Bronze Medal in the Poomsae (Forms) Advance Division Under 30 category, showcasing both her technical excellence and competitive spirit.
These achievements are a testament to the countless hours of training, perseverance, and dedication that Gabrielle has invested in her craft. Through every challenge and every match, she embodied the values of hard work, resilience, and excellence that South Mansfield College strives to instill in its students.
More than the medals she earned, Gabrielle’s success serves as an inspiration to her fellow Royals. Her journey reminds us that with commitment, discipline, and a passion for continuous improvement, students can achieve their goals and compete confidently on the global stage.
The entire South Mansfield College community celebrates this well-deserved accomplishment and applauds Gabrielle for representing SMC with pride, honor, and excellence. Her achievement reflects the global mindset and pursuit of excellence that define every South Mansfield Royal.
