This prestigious event was joined by different private and public schools in Muntinlupa City. Each school has 2 representatives for poster making and 1 for essay writing for a total of 37 contestants from the participating schools.
The winners were announced last September 17, 2014 after all participants were given a certificate of recognition. The SMC delegates poured their hearts out in their posters and essays not just to please the judges, but also to express fresh creative thought on how to care and preserve our environment. Francine Anne Belen from South Mansfield College was called on stage for winning 3rd place in the Essay Writing Contest giving pride to the school. With her were grade schoolers Julia Maxine C. Flotildes from Grade 5 -who also won 3rd place in the Poster Making Contest and Akira Maxine T. Guzman who also shared her talent in art. They were accompanied by their coaches Ms.Cris Molera and Ms.GF Tayco.
The said contests were judged by the following personalities: Dr. Robert Wimmer from Austria, LLDA Mr. Neric Acosta, Dr. Priscilla De Sagun from DepEd, Arch.Romulo Nati from ItalPinas Euroasian design and Eco Development Corp. and PCCI Muntinlupa City president, Ms. Elvie Sanchez-Quiazon.
