SMC Royals in Winning Form for Swimming

Last February 25, 2018, Chloe Cuevas of Grade 3 Honesty won several medals during the 3rd Freedom Cup Swimming Championship organized by the Samahang Manlalangoy ng PIlipinas. For her Girls 7-8 category, Chloe won Bronze in 50m freestyle open, butterfly open, and backstroke open, respectively. She also brought home Silver in the 50m breaststroke open and Gold in 100m freestyle Class C.

The event which was participated in by hundreds of swimmers was held at the Rizal Memorial Complex.

Another amazing tanker, Diyel Ferrer of Grade 4 Creativity won several medals during the 3rd Freedom Cup Swimming Championship organized by the Samahang Manlalangoy ng PIlipinas. For her Girls 9-10 category, Diyel brought home gold in 50m freestyle, gold in 100m freestyle, silver in 50m butterfly, and gold in 50m breaststroke, respectively. Diyel’s biggest winning is being adjudged as Most Outstanding Swimmer in her division.

The event was joined by hundreds of aspiring swimmers who dream of representing the country in international competitions especially the Olympics. The swimming tournament was held at the Rizal Memorial Complex last February 25, 2018.
